Casynella “Nell” Cyrus is an island-born entrepreneur, author, and cultural storyteller from Mayreau, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, and the heart behind Turtle Nest Mayreau. Deeply rooted in community, heritage, and hospitality, Nell created Turtle Nest as more than a place to stay, it is a warm village experience where guests connect with island life, local culture, and sustainable living. As the founder of Turtle Nest Island Books and author of A Girl Who Made It Through the Storm, she is passionate about preserving Caribbean stories while creating opportunities for her island home. Through Turtle Nest, Nell blends comfort, authenticity, and purpose—inviting guests to stay, swim, savor, and feel at home in Mayreau.
